Our club will be involved in this upcoming community event, the Hinterland Aussie Day Expo, and we invite all members and their families along for a great morning out together. At Maleny Showgrounds on Australia Day the whole family can enjoy a Big Maleny Apex Breakfast, then get into heaps of free family fun, games and displays from Maleny's many community and sporting groups! Prizes, games, hands-on activities and displays all morning, for all ages. The Expo Passport Draw will take place at 12 noon, where you can win some great prizes just by collecting a stamp from all the stalls in your Expo Passport! Last chance for a Passport is 10.30 am, all passports to be back to the Entry Tent by 11.30 am, drawn at 12 noon. What's on at the Maleny Showgrounds: •        6.30 am onwards -  Apex Big Breakfast •        7.45 am - Flag Raising Ceremony at the TS Centaur Cadets Building •        8.00 to 8.30 am - New Citizenship Ceremony, accomp by the Maleny Singers       L

On Australia Day 2015 (26 th  January) the Apex Breakfast, RSL Flag Raising Ceremony and  the Annual Naturalization Ceremony will all take place at the Maleny Showgrounds. Immediately following the celebrations,  MDSRC is hosting a  FREE  Hinterland  “ Come & Try Day”  for clubs to promote their activities and attract future memberships. The Maleny Arts and Crafts Group will be there on the main oval with Information, Demonstrations and Activities. Come and check us out.  Starts and 7:30am and finishes at 12pm.
